Organizations operating on a single site
An organization that operates only on one site is the simplest case because the management coverage and the geographical area are the same. EMAS registered sites will fall into this category.
Positive examples
A company that operates in a site where it produces both tubes and radio will be able to register only one of the two branches of business..
Negative examples
A pharmaceutical company will not be able to register only the part of the plant that produces the final product for the consumer, excluding the basic industrial production process that treats the intermediates in the same site.
